Okay, I wasn't expecting to get hooked on Jamie's arc. I tried to wrap my head on what I just witnessed and all I am about to say is that you really created something amazing. You made me freakin' care about your characters Anon - in a good way and it made want to see their development even further. Now, I want to see where you gonna take this story and its world building to the very end. I thought that I am here to witness some eroge but you created beyond that. Kudos.
There was a bug in AssetPackage4 that has been fixed. Please redownload either AssetPackage4 or the Ch40 Update package and install them to fix this issue.
I played this game on Android and it ended at chapter 15. Even though I downloaded and installed all 4 assets, the game ended at chapter 15. it says 'script error'.
You need to open each asset package installer and hit the button inside that says install, otherwise you won't get all assets and the game will crash eventually like this.

I wanted something I could just get off to, but as I played it... the story actually got to me, to a point where the sex scenes were just a nice bonus but even then I focused more on the dialogue because frankly... the story got my interest, every time now that I finish a chapter I just want to know what's going to happen next... I don't know if the developer is the same as the story writer but... something amazing was done with this game, I'm really enjoying the story and characters.

There's moments of dialogue that are in Spanish, if they're not translated it's because you're expected to guess what's being said rather than really know. If you mean a translation patch, then there's one up to chapter 10 on the Discord.
The game looks astounding visually. But I have to ask since it's make or break for me personally with VNs. Does this have animated H-scenes? if so, where they added later and the early content hasn't been updated or is it all just standstill images with flashy effects? If it is all just still images, are there plans to animate in the future? Also is the way the download is formatted on Android really necessary? I feel like there has to be a better way since NO other VNs' were done the same way.
There are currently no animated H-scenes. We have a funding goal for them, but as of right now no.
You may be surprised to learn that more games do very similar methods to us for their Android builds. Being A Dik is probably the most well known.
Android .apks have an inherent limit of 2gb, and going over that for an Android app requires either direct download capability (which as an indie game, we don't have) or a multi-asset package system like we have now. It was either this or no Android build at all.
The project is closing in on that funding goal, and not only that, once the goal is reached all of the current scenes are going to be animated (so not just from the funding point on)
The game has a ton of foreshadowing and you notice if you pay attention, just like a good book, and there is a ton of replay value.
Give it a shot, and once the funding goal is reached and the scenes are animated, play again, you'll notice all of the cool things you missed and enjoy the animations
Will you be continuing the story soon, or forgoing it to develop the animations? I can honestly wait on animations to keep more new story coming but that's just me
I will not be delaying new content to implement animations. Instead, if we hit that goal we will go back and add animations to h-scenes in chronological order until we have caught up (since they’re such an important first impression) while still releasing monthly updates as normal.

There are choices in the game that do have impacts that are only obvious much later. But you're not going to get to pick what colour socks CJ wears each day.
I am stuck in the "sunny kamogawa city" screen thing and it doesn't show me where to go or anything to do I am in chapter 36 I think and I just finished the area in the city where you do the character's sides. i did them all and now it doesn't tell me what to do or where to go. what am i suppose to do?

You need to install all 4 of the main packages if it's your first time, the update one is only for returning players. This is what you do with each installer: usually you install package -> open it -> press install inside it and wait for it to complete -> close app -> (optional - saves space) remove package app -> repeat with other packages -> install main apk and run the game So yes you can delete the the package apps after installing their assets although you will then have to redownload them if you failed to install them correctly

just download the update and then drag and drop them into your main OoT folder and overwrite.
Android is similar, just download the update only asset package, install it like usual and download the updated 2.77.1 main apk.

The game is currently about 30,000 renders and roughly 30 hours of content, with 60 more chapters to come. It's just big.

You’re still on last month’s update and need to update to the full version of Chapter 39.

Just take the contents of the update zip and drag-and-drop them into your main OoT game folder, overwriting when prompted. Very easy.

Why are the APKs so big?! I can't afford to keep nearly 5.5 GBs downloaded.
