Hey guys!

Well, looks like Summer's just about over. The weather's still nice here but by the next update it'll be typical Pacific Northwest Autumn. I'll be enjoying the 70*F for what little is left of it.

But while the sunshine is dimming down up here, things are only brightening up for Out of Touch!

As you've probably noticed, we're back on a 2 week release schedule! Currently, my plan is to alternate between new main story chapter releases and side story/side arc releases. The actual amount of renders per update should be about the same (If not more, for the side story releases) but you'll finally start seeing your favorite characters in less...dramatic circumstances.

Now the reason for this schedule is two fold:

A) I have a metric asston of side content that I've been dying to finally put in and contextually, very little of it made sense before Chapter 24. These are funny little side stories or slice of life moments between characters, usually CJ and one of the girls but not always. It's also where most of the gratuitous h-content of the game will be found and we all know how much you've been begging for that.

B) While combat is still under construction by Snow (And a new dev who I will be introducing pretty soon!), there isn't much of a rush to get to the next combat segment in Chapter 29. If I make a non-combat version of that chapter, it's just more days of work that I'll have to throw out when time comes to actually implement the real deal.

So instead, this is a great opportunity to get a big head start on these side events! This is all content I've planned to do anyway, we're just going to try and get as much of it done ahead of time as we can.

If you've ever played LiL, the format of these events should feel vaguely familiar to you. They'll all be accessible from the open world areas (Which will be the regular "between chapter" segment from Ch24 onward) and the only requirements for doing them will be either being far along enough in the main story and doing and prerequisite events.

There will never be any grind requirements, promise.

While many of these events will be one-off stories, there will be at least one entire side arc per main girl that covers her burgeoning relationship with CJ. While the most dramatic parts of their relationships will be covered through the main story, if you've ever wanted to have tea with Leah, walk on the beach with Sarah or spend an afternoon snuggling with Ashley, these will be perfect for you!

Beyond that, there should be some new UI elements coming in the next few updates, including the long awaited screen resizing but also character screens for each girl that will track your relationship progress and later their combat stats/abilities!

And the million dollar question: The Android build.

Well, the aforementioned new dev will be playing a key role in getting us set up for the android build. We've already gotten a bunch of back end changes done that are setting the stage for the Android build, now it's about updating the UI to work on a phone screen and figuring out the process for getting our files installed on your phone.

While we don't feel confident in any hard release date for Android, the process is well under way and shouldn't be too much longer. The light at the end of the tunnel is in sight (and it is NOT a train).
