So this is probably one of the most Stand Out NVs I have come across. I'd rank it up with Eternum and other legends. It is very unique in the polish of its anime style which is captivating even to a mostly non-anime person like myself. Out of Touch! has entirely outranked every other game of its kind I have. Play at your own risk. I have not seen and probably will not see anything of this quality being referred to as "just a porn game" ever again. You will feel for the characters like you were right along with them or actively one of them. You may potentially cry as I did in the darker moments throughout this game. Even though we are only on Chapter 41 of this masterpiece of storytelling (which took me over 40 hours to reach), I was still so terribly sad to hear that this game would only have 100 chapters in total. You will laugh at the, quite honestly, totally ridiculous moments like [SPOILERS] A certain Chad meme being a literal God. You will cry at all the moments that could make you cry. Heart wrenching to heart warming to downright hilarious and repeat, with sprinkles of nudity and sex scenes along the way. Once again, play at your own risk, all other games in my collection just simply do not compare whatsoever.
Btw Mizue and Jamie are the best. No, it's not just because I relate to their personalities the most, but I'm sure that does add to it.
If you've got the correct version (the file is ~8gb not 170mb) then it's probably due to special invisible characters in your game folder path, such as NBSP. Move game to a folder that doesn't contain any invisible characters, this is a windows API bug.

I'd like to say a few words. For those of you with little attention span, tldr; This game is worth your time no matter the platform. Probably the best plot of intrigue you will find on Itch.io
Now for the big bit.
It takes a lot to hit the back of my head that gives the good brain itch. I've read so much and experienced the stories of others so vehemently that I've gained a bit of a knack for predicting continuity in a story. I've gotten quite good at it, and have been told by many that my guesses of future events easily qualify me as an excellent writer.
I downloaded this VN with the intent of dipping my toes in the water with it. The Mobile install was clunky and time consuming but not difficult. I dove in without hesitation.
I remember laughing out loud when I learned of CJ's heritage, and figured this would be good for a short laugh, despite it touting 41 chapters. I read at around 850 wpm so I considered it a light read at a glance.
Next thing I knew, almost 10 hours had passed and I had barely regained myself when I reached the title card for chapter 25, and had to take a moment to realize what just happened to me.
This. This gripped me. The characters, the way they interact and grow. The massive spiritual intrigue on top of the family issues of some very real and possible forms of abuse and neglect touched motes of my life that had been long since left behind. Something incredible had happened.
A free hentai game had checked my maturity as a human being. Reminded me that any and all people can be capable of great good and evil.
I found peace and solace with meeting these characters, and had to come to terms with something new.
I didnt like them because of the sex and their obvious good looks. I loved them because I wanted to help. Make things even slightly easier for them in my own way. And THAT, ladies and gents, is how you create something truly beautiful and heartfelt. This is why I will always take pride in being one of the many who experience the creations of others.
You have done well with this one. I will be waiting for the future updates of this story with bated breath. You have my full attention, and will be hard pressed to lose it.
I got a brand new phone running Android 13 and wanted to reinstall the game, but for some reason it's telling me I can't install any of the APKs (not the package installers or the main apk either) because they aren't compatible with my device, despite having lots of space and having just installed the update recently on an older model of the same phone. I can install other games from Itch just fine too. Anyone have the same issue or know what's going on here?

Edit: Oh, I think I figured it out for anyone else who may come by with similar problems - Google's newest phones are 64 bit only, no support for 32 bit apps, and I guess the game must be 32 bit. Hope future versions can eventually be done in 64 bit or have a separate version if it's not a huge hassle (though I suspect it is...) especially since Google seems to eventually want to push this policy for all new android phones going forward.
Yeah, it's unfortunate because the writing is all over the wall that Android is going to go the way of iOS and drop 32-bit support entirely soon (maybe even Android 14?), especially with Arm's new CPU cores being 64-bit only, so it'll be inherent to most new phones soon anyway.
It's ultimately (in a matter of a couple years) gonna have to be switched to 64-bit or just no longer have a version that works on any new Android devices, not just Pixels, but I totally understand why it's not worth doing at this very moment, when I'm sure people trying to play on the newest Pixel phones only make up a fraction of current users.
I made an account just to talk about this VN. I've watched and played alot of games in my life. Some that were supposed to stir up your emotions and couldn't for me, but I didn't know what I was in for when I played this. Just a random VN I picked out because I liked the art style from first glance. Truck-kun level hit to my emotions and YOU were able to bring up some stuff I had not felt in years because I locked them away never to be seen. The absolute breadth and depth of these characters, relational concepts, and philosophy is just mind boggling. I could not praise this writing enough. The MC that is perfectly introduced as probably one of the worst tropes and having the severe opposite slowly creep up on you. Wonderful. Just wonderful. The characters around the MC, all unique in their own way. Characters that make sense, with execeptionally varied history and reasoning. There's not a single moment that made me question any of them or their actions. Flawless. The world that's both nonsensical and yet somehow perfectly defined within its own ruleset, to the point where the exposition is just enough to make me actually understand all that's explained or shown. Complete with colourful graphics that even a chromatically-challenged doofus like myself appreciates. World-class. I don't know what hole you crept out from, Story Anon. I genuinely hope that you have an insanely good imagination and there isn't some other reason why you're able to write this tumultuously, because hot damn you made me feel way way too many things. You're doing okay, right?
It's taken me little over a week to plough through this since I found it, and I'm genuinely distraught that I not only hadn't found it before, but especially that I've gotten to the last bit of content. I would say I clearly want more as fast as possible. But genuinely -as someone who's adored everything so far- please do take all the time you need.
Finally, and I'll admit that perhaps the story so far has affected me just a tad too much, perhaps this is just flatout sappy... If you, Story Anon, ever need help -and I know I'm just some dumbass internet stranger who just left a single comment, no connections, no ring, but still- if you ever need help in whatever way, please shoot me a message. Legitimately everything is done well. The balance of emotions, personalities, humor, h-scenes, and plot progression is top tier among indie games in general, not just h games. Also, the music is top-tier! I seriously listen to the OoT soundtrack on its own while I am working!

its also on my bucket list. so ive gotten to chapter 2 for this game and gotta say...i miss the animations. aside from those scenes, i quite dislike the a lot of cuss words used in this game. the girls turned out to be really... strange sort of girls who smoke and drink and stuff. they got bad mouth as well. im still gonna play it til the end and give it an honest rating. wish me luck

Sounds liek you downloaded the update patch not the actual game. You need the 8GB file not the 170mb one.

The nose change was a decision by Anon to fix an issue he had with the old ones. That from some angles they looked illogical.

Legitimately everything is done well. The balance of emotions, personalities, humor, h-scenes, and plot progression is top tier among indie games in general, not just h games. Also, the music is top-tier! I seriously listen to the OoT soundtrack on its own while I am working!
Oh yeah, and the creators are super friendly and hilarious people! Check out their discord, it is awesome.

I already did, I'd give eternum a 9/10. The main characters father is probably the best aspect of OOT lmao.
Once in A Lifetime by the same dev is also a great game if you haven't played it yet.
its also on my bucket list. so ive gotten to chapter 2 for this game and gotta say...i miss the animations. aside from those scenes, i quite dislike the a lot of cuss words used in this game. the girls turned out to be really... strange sort of girls who smoke and drink and stuff. they got bad mouth as well. im still gonna play it til the end and give it an honest rating. wish me luck
i take back what i said. chapter 3 did an absolutely stunning job. ready to give this a solid 9/10. no bias. but will wait til the end of the story
What's the play time? There's 40 chapters but I don't know how long each 1 is.
Roughly 30 hours. The chapters start very short but get progressively longer after about 15.
