Hey Dev! Fantastic game. I was just wondering if we could get a tutorial on how to update our current or move save files to a newer version of the game on mac. I've played up until chapter 32 and I don't really want to play through the entire game again. I've installed the zip file for the new chapters but any help or instructions on how to use them on the game would be great. Thanks again!
Hello! You shouldn't have to move your save files in between chapter updates, they're saved in a different location (%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Lightning Rooster Prouctions iirc)
Hey, so it appears the game doesn't like wide screen resolutions... I tried to set it to my monitor's native resolution and now on the main menu I can see the "OUT OF TOUCH" logo, but nothing else. I tried deleting the extracted folder and the folder "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\LocalLow\Lightning Rooster Productions" but it appears to still remember the resolution I set (instead of the default resolution the game launches at) when I re-extract and re-run the game.
Any Dev help for what else I need to clear out? Is it a registry key?
Also in a future update, ultrawide support would be appreciated. :)
The default location for Unity resolution settings is in the registry on Windows. Look for "Software/LightningRoosterProoctions/OoT/Screenmanager Resolution Width"
Hey dev i know you are working on Android version but i think this is too big in size for Android so are you thinking about making seperate files,or download option on mega or something.
it will have multiple installation bundles that you download and install together but play from one app. Also keeps you from having to download the whole game again when new updates drop.
well that's good no actually quite genius,since you know mostly people don't tend to download something like 5 gb but make 10 seperate files of 500 mbs and people will download them,just like watching a 8 hr movie make 16 parts of it with 30 minutes per episode and i promise you person will waitch all 16 parts in one go,(been there done that :))
The idea is that each volume will be it's own bundle, so if you just want to try the first part you can just download that and if you want to keep going, you'll download volume 2/3/4 etc when you feel like it.

Generally the way around it is either to separate it into multiple parts that you download individual like here or you download the first and install it and after you open it for the first time it downloads the rest.
Joiplay plugin has some issues nowadays only avn which were made in 2021 or before works and that's also only few of them.so there isn't a way to play this best story based avn on Android anytime soon

Check the Chapter 34 folder in IMAGES~ and confirm if they're actually there. Because they're loose images in a .zip, antivirus loves to quarantine them when you unzip it.
When you're unzipping the update, if you aren't seeing 800+ files being unpacked then that means it's been screwed by Windows Defender or whatever else you use.
Nvm I got, I did not download the Ch 33 that's it didn't show any images. That was my bad 😉. So I downloaded the whole game and Slap the Ch 33 on my Old Version. Then bam Images shows up now.

Animated means it's smth that is moving like a cutscene in a video game could be animated. H-scene is 18+/sex scene and an animated H-scene is what I said combined. Hopefully you understand what I mean.

so maybe Im the only one with this issue but now that i downloaded the new version I only get the script. none of the actual renders appear on the screen. any ideas on how to fix it?
OoT was originally built in Ren'Py, but got ported over to Unity Engine for more recent development. Story Anon's coders have had serious problems getting the Unity version working outside of desktop environments. They're actively working on it, though, and have some mostly-working builds now. Hopefully they'll be able to knock out the last few serious bugs pretty soon.
This visual novel is incredible. Even without "player choice" it so engaging and I am dreading the end of the content that is currently out as I don't want it to end. One of the best visual novels I have read.

It's in closed patron testing right now, our lead programmer has been having medical issues for the past couple of months and hasn't been able to work much.
Probably something that happens in later Chapters, maybe when we run into CJ's mom again but I never really thought about it before now. I'm kinda surprised that CJ's dad doesn't get mentioned all that much or even questioned, especially as the story is unfolding and the characters are learning more and more.

If CJ Sr is a greater being than CJ Jr you'd think he'd be mentioned more. Primarily by Cro, Carpo and crew as they've seen, been a part of and know a lot more. Or does this mean there is no distinction between the two and actually CJ Sr is just the 'whole' CJ if all his fragments/shards were one?

Your antivirus probably quarantined the renders, check in IMAGES~ if the Ch33 renders made it in.

But it took some time to play
Took me about a week (only cause I had to take breaks cause I definitely could not handle the entire game in one sitting)
