Can just delete storage/Out_of_Touch/Assets folder. Don’t delete Out_of_Touch/Saves if you want to keep saves. If you just want to fully delete and not reinstall you don’t need installer. And also if you’re moving to other phone you can just move folder there - installers are mostly needed for creating folders & files with correct capitalizations (android file systems are case sensitive usually) and make sure that only older bundles are replaced and newer ones are not touched.

Story Anon, would you consider compiling the game into GNU/Linux binary code ? I know it might be time consuming due to the size of the game, but it would give you an even bigger audience :) I love your game I like that the characters do not differ only in eye and hair color, but have their own characteristics. The game works under WINE, but depending on the version used sometimes there are problems with some scenes.
It would be a lot of effort for a build that works worse than using windows build with wine. Linux is unstable in terms of binary compatibility. And some unity API do not return sane results so proper support would require doing native calls which is way more effort than its worth for single digit number of players. On the other hand wine is maintained and windows is extremely stable in terms of binary compatibility, it’s complete opposite of linux in that regard and since windows build should work perfectly fine in proton if you have hardware that support vulkan - just use that. Even if your hardware doesn’t support vulkan all you need is extracting video bundles, transcoding to vp8 and bundling them again.
What you write about refers to the "dependency hell" of system libraries. In this respect, I agree, it is a difficult thing to reconcile. However, projects that do not use them are not affected. I have already played games downloaded from this site and made in Unity and compiled for Linux. There were no problems at all. No less, I respect your decision, I hope for another update as soon as possible :) Oh, and my hardware supports Vulkan, however, as I wrote before, it was up to WINE whether the game could go on or simply crashed.

This wouldn’t happen with windows build. There is also issue with case sentitive file paths. While I fixed file names in scripts to match file name capitalization (and on current dev builds loading files is changed so capitalization in scripts no longer matters) but that can also cause issues. Also a lot of games from the period when valve pushed for linux support with native builds no longer work on most modern distros while wine can probably still run games from 90s.

I use a laptop, so other than connecting it to a TV via hdmi, I've never had to set up multiple monitors. I use a rolling distribution, so I can very easily downgrade or upgrade the version of WINE I want to use. Help it's not working! I'm trying to install it on a Kindle Fire (which, in my past experiences has worked just like an Android device) but when I try to install any of the asset packages it takes a long time in the "staging app" part then immediately after asking if I want to install it it says "app not installed".
In my experience kindle fire has worked the same when installing and running .apk files. I even managed to get the Google Play store working on it. I want to find the difference that is causing this issue and how to make it work

So this is probably one of the most Stand Out NVs I have come across. I'd rank it up with Eternum and other legends. It is very unique in the polish of its anime style which is captivating even to a mostly non-anime person like myself. Not having the protag being a self-insert is a bold move but it works, especially given how the game shifts between multiple perspectives. My hat is off to Story Anon and his team. Out of Touch! has entirely outranked every other game of its kind I have. Play at your own risk. I have not seen and probably will not see anything of this quality being referred to as "just a porn game" ever again. You will feel for the characters like you were right along with them or actively one of them. You may potentially cry as I did in the darker moments throughout this game. Even though we are only on Chapter 41 of this masterpiece of storytelling (which took me over 40 hours to reach), I was still so terribly sad to hear that this game would only have 100 chapters in total. You will laugh at the, quite honestly, totally ridiculous moments like [SPOILERS] A certain Chad meme being a literal God. You will cry at all the moments that could make you cry. Heart wrenching to heart warming to downright hilarious and repeat, with sprinkles of nudity and sex scenes along the way. Once again, play at your own risk, all other games in my collection just simply do not compare whatsoever.
Btw Mizue and Jamie are the best. No, it's not just because I relate to their personalities the most, but I'm sure that does add to it.
If you've got the correct version (the file is ~8gb not 170mb) then it's probably due to special invisible characters in your game folder path, such as NBSP. Move game to a folder that doesn't contain any invisible characters, this is a windows API bug.

It takes a lot to hit the back of my head that gives the good brain itch. I've read so much and experienced the stories of others so vehemently that I've gained a bit of a knack for predicting continuity in a story. I've gotten quite good at it, and have been told by many that my guesses of future events easily qualify me as an excellent writer.
I downloaded this VN with the intent of dipping my toes in the water with it. The Mobile install was clunky and time consuming but not difficult. I dove in without hesitation.
I remember laughing out loud when I learned of CJ's heritage, and figured this would be good for a short laugh, despite it touting 41 chapters. I read at around 850 wpm so I considered it a light read at a glance.
Next thing I knew, almost 10 hours had passed and I had barely regained myself when I reached the title card for chapter 25, and had to take a moment to realize what just happened to me.
This. This gripped me. The characters, the way they interact and grow. The massive spiritual intrigue on top of the family issues of some very real and possible forms of abuse and neglect touched motes of my life that had been long since left behind. Something incredible had happened.
A free hentai game had checked my maturity as a human being. Reminded me that any and all people can be capable of great good and evil.
I found peace and solace with meeting these characters, and had to come to terms with something new.
I didnt like them because of the sex and their obvious good looks. I loved them because I wanted to help. Make things even slightly easier for them in my own way. And THAT, ladies and gents, is how you create something truly beautiful and heartfelt. This is why I will always take pride in being one of the many who experience the creations of others.
You have done well with this one. I will be waiting for the future updates of this story with bated breath. You have my full attention, and will be hard pressed to lose it.
I got a brand new phone running Android 13 and wanted to reinstall the game, but for some reason it's telling me I can't install any of the APKs (not the package installers or the main apk either) because they aren't compatible with my device, despite having lots of space and having just installed the update recently on an older model of the same phone. I can install other games from Itch just fine too. Anyone have the same issue or know what's going on here?

Edit: Oh, I think I figured it out for anyone else who may come by with similar problems - Google's newest phones are 64 bit only, no support for 32 bit apps, and I guess the game must be 32 bit. Hope future versions can eventually be done in 64 bit or have a separate version if it's not a huge hassle (though I suspect it is...) especially since Google seems to eventually want to push this policy for all new android phones going forward.
Yeah, it's unfortunate because the writing is all over the wall that Android is going to go the way of iOS and drop 32-bit support entirely soon (maybe even Android 14?), especially with Arm's new CPU cores being 64-bit only, so it'll be inherent to most new phones soon anyway.
It's ultimately (in a matter of a couple years) gonna have to be switched to 64-bit or just no longer have a version that works on any new Android devices, not just Pixels, but I totally understand why it's not worth doing at this very moment, when I'm sure people trying to play on the newest Pixel phones only make up a fraction of current users.

Truck-kun level hit to my emotions and YOU were able to bring up some stuff I had not felt in years because I locked them away never to be seen. Now I get to do the fun part of missing my new fictional friends and waiting for the next update. The downside to binging anything, really; when you get to the end of what's available.
HOOKED, UTTERLY HOOKED FROM THIS MASTERPIECE finished chapter 40 recently and just found out that 41 is out, seriously a well made story so far I have seen. I almost forgot I wanted this for the "art" and was invested in the story completely (THIS MIGHT BE A SMALL THING BUT.... is it me or the changes of the character's noses(On ch41 ), I found them quite unappealing , will it continue like this in the next chapters)

Kindle Fire is not a supported platform, I would highly recommend playing OoT on PC or Mac.

Probably, the RAM shortage is a problem. You need about 2GB free RAM just for installing apk for asset bundle installer.
Try to unpack asset bundles from .apk-files on your PC manually, and then copy them to your device.
Main apk shouldn't have such issue, I guess

Uhhh... If you have a file archiver software which supports unpacking apk, then you are good.
This game is in Unity so the same rules as Renpy probably don't apply for compatibility.

Sounds liek you downloaded the update patch not the actual game. You need the 8GB file not the 170mb one.

The nose change was a decision by Anon to fix an issue he had with the old ones. That from some angles they looked illogical.
