Animations should be in the game in the future. Err, sexual animations that is. It has a few for volume intros and other things, but that's it for now. Idk, if they're 60 fps tho.
You won't have installed correctly, read the instructions below the patreon button on this page carefully. If you need troubleshooting go to the Itch page.
I guess it's me , but I can't get the update installed! The game keeps ending at chapter 41 😢! Into wich folder do I have to unpack the zip-file?? HELP!!!!
Usually it's just taking the contents from the update folder and putting them in your main folder. It should be obvious as you can just make sure the OoT_Data folders match up in each.
Holy Fucking Shit. How can this game be this good!? I am absolutely stunned. I keep expecting some parts of the story to die down or become a little boring because of how long term stories work, but...they never do. It just gets better! It slows down at the right times, builds back up at the right times too!
It truly feels like a well-written, well-produced, well-paced Anime! Each volume truly does feel like an entire season of said anime. In fact, this damn game needs an anime adaptation.
Maybe it's cause I voice (almost) each character as I'm reading their lines which helps me get into the story and shit (call me weird if you want, but it fucking works and adds even more character to the characters. Even though my voices are probably wrong and not too good). Maybe its because this game is just that good!
The ONE thing I absolutely NEED is this game's soundtrack on Spotify though, so I can listen to this absolute banger whenever I want to.
Now I know too much praise can be a bad thing, so I'm saving some for future updates, chapters, and volumes. So for now keep doing whatever it is you guys are doing, keep pouring more love into this, keep receiving more and more love as well. You all fucking deserve it.
Edit: sincerely sorry for my psychotic rambling, I just finished volume 3 and went through about 35 different possible emotions, most of which I did not know existed until now and some I'm pretty sure I just discovered. Never been this interested in what is basically a digital picture book before, and it makes me feel like picking up similar ones like Lessons In Love. (which I'll probably do most of while waiting for volume 4) Take your time, you guys will succeed. That, I know.
Scratch, that about LiL. LiL has a great story with lots of mystery, drama, and other shit I'm interested in, but I just can't play it and enjoy the story without it feeling like I'm breaking the law with how old the characters are.
I do the same thing - I voice the characters in my head. I feel like they each have a distinct voice and I think that's due to the quality of they writing. The characters are very well rounded and will get you emotionally invested in this game. Once you're invested you're in for a ride. Even the sappy parts are philosophically rich and emotionally intelligent.
Welp guess I'm going to have to eat my own words. I was sure I wasn't when I started playing this game but I give it a rating of five stars.
Usual automatic deductions are things like not being able to name the main character or not enough meaningful choices as the mc. However I cannot deny this is truly a incredible story that no fan of visual novels should miss out on. You will laugh you will cry and then you just might laugh some more. No one could deny the clear hard work that was put into these stunning visuals and animations along with the beautifully crafted personalities of each and every character. Not a single character in this story will feel Bland to anyone playing it. The characters in World building has real substance to it that will definitely satisfy your desire for a good story.
It's clear that this development team is taking their time to crack the story and not Desiring to rush to the finish line. Enjoy the journey this story takes you on you won't regret the download.
It's like watching a season of Jojo's, slapped together with Kung Fury style humour, and topped off with a soundtrack that rivals few. Some moments you'll want to cry, others you'll want to cheer. I've played dozens, if not hundreds of VN's and this was a hoot.
Hmm... I just tried to download it, didn't tab out of the itch.io page per your instructions... and it still only got to ~5GB before "The network connection was interrupted." Maybe it's a bandwidth issue?
This is like 90% irrelevant and I may just be losing my mind, but I swear there is no "chapter 23 start" screen. Once again, might be losing my mind, but I swear it just goes from the chapter 22 start, throughout all of chapter 22 then skips the 23 start screen, goes through all of 23, and then goes to the chapter 24 start screen.
Bro this game slaps even my chinchilla seemed to enjoy watching it from his enclosure (not the H-scenes). I am hella excited for newer chapters and cant wait to see where the game leads next, oh yeah also Jamie is best girl.
Two finger tap is Back/Pause on android version, which open save screen when you’re in game. You can see all current controls in help menu (it’s pretty limited on touch screen currently). You might’ve accidentally pressed with 2 fingers.
So I've been playing this game for a bit and it's great so far.
However, I would like to know if there is a specific reason the H-scenes aren't animated. I'm genuinely curious since, judging from Tropicali, if your team wanted to animate them you guys would have no problems at all. Which makes me think it's probably a design choice or something. Something like keeping the file size down or something closer to wanting to focus on the story.
Other way around. Tropicali is just newer and we're at a point where we're happy with the quality of our animations. Expect to see animations in OoT for both old and new h-scenes.
Totally, slipped my mind that "in progress" was a possibility and you were probably experimenting with Tropicali. Woops
Everything's been phenomenal so far btw. Story's been really interesting, all of the characters too. Models look amazing as well. You guys are really good at this, so great job and keep going. You guys deserve all of the support you have and more!
So, when I uninstall this game on my mobile, do I have to download the assets again to do the "Uninstall" of the asset files? Or do I just have to locate a folder with the game files and delete it?
I'm asking because I am deleting every games I have on my "Personal Phone" and migrate every game I have on my "Games-Only Phone".
Can just delete storage/Out_of_Touch/Assets folder. Don’t delete Out_of_Touch/Saves if you want to keep saves. If you just want to fully delete and not reinstall you don’t need installer. And also if you’re moving to other phone you can just move folder there - installers are mostly needed for creating folders & files with correct capitalizations (android file systems are case sensitive usually) and make sure that only older bundles are replaced and newer ones are not touched.
My previous comment was deleted, so I'll try again.
Story Anon, would you consider compiling the game into GNU/Linux binary code ? I know it might be time consuming due to the size of the game, but it would give you an even bigger audience :) I love your game I like that the characters do not differ only in eye and hair color, but have their own characteristics. The game works under WINE, but depending on the version used sometimes there are problems with some scenes.
It would be a lot of effort for a build that works worse than using windows build with wine. Linux is unstable in terms of binary compatibility. And some unity API do not return sane results so proper support would require doing native calls which is way more effort than its worth for single digit number of players. On the other hand wine is maintained and windows is extremely stable in terms of binary compatibility, it’s complete opposite of linux in that regard and since windows build should work perfectly fine in proton if you have hardware that support vulkan - just use that. Even if your hardware doesn’t support vulkan all you need is extracting video bundles, transcoding to vp8 and bundling them again.
What you write about refers to the "dependency hell" of system libraries. In this respect, I agree, it is a difficult thing to reconcile. However, projects that do not use them are not affected. I have already played games downloaded from this site and made in Unity and compiled for Linux. There were no problems at all. No less, I respect your decision, I hope for another update as soon as possible :) Oh, and my hardware supports Vulkan, however, as I wrote before, it was up to WINE whether the game could go on or simply crashed.
It will probably work but it will work worse than windows build. I know for a fact that in multi monitor setup there would be bugs because unity screen and display properties give insane results on linux when there is more than 1 monitor. This wouldn’t happen with windows build. There is also issue with case sentitive file paths. While I fixed file names in scripts to match file name capitalization (and on current dev builds loading files is changed so capitalization in scripts no longer matters) but that can also cause issues. Also a lot of games from the period when valve pushed for linux support with native builds no longer work on most modern distros while wine can probably still run games from 90s.
OK, I guess I'm a little late with this topic. The problem with the size of the letters has always caused problems, especially in games whose add-ons were made by fans who didn't care about it at all. I use a laptop, so other than connecting it to a TV via hdmi, I've never had to set up multiple monitors. I use a rolling distribution, so I can very easily downgrade or upgrade the version of WINE I want to use. Anyway, thank you for your reply, I wish you fruitful work related to the game I really like.
Help it's not working! I'm trying to install it on a Kindle Fire (which, in my past experiences has worked just like an Android device) but when I try to install any of the asset packages it takes a long time in the "staging app" part then immediately after asking if I want to install it it says "app not installed".
In my experience kindle fire has worked the same when installing and running .apk files. I even managed to get the Google Play store working on it. I want to find the difference that is causing this issue and how to make it work
For some reason I can't download the game. I'm trying to download it on a Mac and it constantly fails at around 1 GB. I checked my space and I still have roughly 52 GB of space so that's not the issue. When I click on the failed download, it says it's an unknown server error and:

So this is probably one of the most Stand Out NVs I have come across. I'd rank it up with Eternum and other legends. It is very unique in the polish of its anime style which is captivating even to a mostly non-anime person like myself. Not having the protag being a self-insert is a bold move but it works, especially given how the game shifts between multiple perspectives. My hat is off to Story Anon and his team. Bravo and I cannot wait till part 42

Came off to this off the back of Tropicali where the animations where pretty great. Does this game have H-animations?
Not yet. Tropicali was our test bed for animations.
They are pretty damn great in tropicali

Trying to install it via the out-of-touch-mac.zip download file but I can only get to ~5 GB before it stops. Is there a solutions for this?
I was able to install a prior version a year or two ago, but it seems to have been deleted at some point.
It's an itch problem. Don't tab out of the itch.io window while downloading it.
Hmm... I just tried to download it, didn't tab out of the itch.io page per your instructions... and it still only got to ~5GB before "The network connection was interrupted." Maybe it's a bandwidth issue?
You can try using download manager to recover download when itch.io loses connection.
Im gonna be honest i lost my shit when i heard Gianni's voice
im glad I wasn't the only one fucking dying XD
Gianni definitely is a Chad in real life. Especially with all the funny shit he does with his talent.

Nah some chapters are missing them, blame Anon. Chapter 23 starts as soon as you get back to the real world.
Figured it was supposed to start somewhere around there. Not too big of a deal tbh.

one thing i know in this game
Jamie was Intersex...
Well... not really, but the 10k goal on patreon is the femboy Jamie patch
Can anyone who played please reply if the game made all h scenes animated or no including the picture showing ig*

Ok the first 20 min is holy shit wtf how on gods earth did you get Gianni to voice chad thundercock i mean its ligit fucking cool.
what kind of drugs are you on in the intro.
Dang! What engine are you using? This is like if the anime style of Koikatsu had a baby with the modeling of HS2.
This is heavily modded Koikatsu, with a lot of effort put in
I'm confused about the version numbering. Is this game story-complete? As in, is there an actual ending to reach which wraps up the story?
No, it's ongoing. 41 chapters of 100

In my experience kindle fire has worked the same when installing and running .apk files. I even managed to get the Google Play store working on it. I want to find the difference that is causing this issue and how to make it work
Probably, the RAM shortage is a problem. You need about 2GB free RAM just for installing apk for asset bundle installer.
Try to unpack asset bundles from .apk-files on your PC manually, and then copy them to your device.
Main apk shouldn't have such issue, I guess
Don't have one. Would a chromebook work?
Uhhh... If you have a file archiver software which supports unpacking apk, then you are good.
This game is in Unity so the same rules as Renpy probably don't apply for compatibility.
Does someone know where are game files after installation them with that apps, because i want everything on my sd card?
Too much drama but i like some juicy Lore 😋
Are the h scenes animated that are shown here??? Or none.... Before i install it i have to know.
It's a 30+ hour long story, if that's the deciding factor you should probably play something else.
The story is so good! Just wish the h scenes were animated. Sad times.
They are not animated?
no? Unless I got the wrong version.
Wdym... I See some comments saying the h scenes are not animated.
One of the best games in this genre I've played. Can't wait for more!
For some reason I can't download the game. I'm trying to download it on a Mac and it constantly fails at around 1 GB. I checked my space and I still have roughly 52 GB of space so that's not the issue. When I click on the failed download, it says it's an unknown server error and:
