It doesn’t have hardware support but there are solutions like Tango most just choose not to use these solutions because google deprecated 32 bit support for no good reason. Google goes even further and kills 32 bit support on hardware perfectly capable of running 32 bit applications natively.
The schedule for 2024 is up on patreon, Tropicali will be getting an update for patrons, then public in February. OoT chapter 45 will be out for patrons on Feb 22nd, then the public on the 1st of March
Disclaimer: I don't usually watch anime. So I needed some time in the beginning to get used to the style of storytelling and the bit more "over the top drama" (compared to other stories). Having said that, OoT grew on me really quickly! I like all the characters, they are interesting and have a lot of backstory that motivates their actions. I feel like the trauma of certain characters is depicted really well, like it will always come back to haunt you (especially after such a long time being exposed to these thoughts).
The world-building itself can be confusing at times (that's kinda the point I think), but I love the sense of mystery and hearing them talk about their own theories and explanations. The idea of being connected and the center message of overcoming any evil by sticking together is honestly very beautiful and makes me want the group to succeed. It makes me genuinely care about their relationships and that they are not mad at each other. Adding the imminent danger, I feel anxious for them whenever something supernatural happens. No other game made me feel this way so far (I also don't usually write comments like these). The H-rated scenes are honestly secondary for me, like they are a nice reward, but mostly for emotional reasons. It's a bit embarrassing to admit, but I often needed to stop myself from playing because it would take up too much time.
Now, what I didn't like about the game so far is the use of homophobic and ableist slurs by CJ (f**, r*****, ...). I guess later he sorta redeems himself because he doesn't care about being in love with a "boy". I understand that he should be seen as being a bit dumb, but this makes it hard to sympathize with him.
Other than that I enjoy that CJ is not the only main character and that we get some insight into many different characters. I also like that it's not a "typical" harem game where the MC doesn't really consider the feelings of the other girls whenever he does something with a new one.
I'm anxious to play the rest of the game, but I don't want to burn through it too quickly ;) I love the art style, the characters (especially Vic, Sarah, and Jamie), the story, the music, the amount of details, and basically everything else! Thanks for creating this game.
If you've completed chapter 23 then you're only 25% of the way through the current content, so don't worry about running out. Chapters start getting longer on average after 23 with arc finales (29, 37, 44) being the size of 3 or 4 chapters at once.
There truly aren't any words that can describe the experience I have just underwent exploring this creation you have sincerely blessed us with. I have not, in all of the Visual Novels I have ever read, had such a blast riding this rollercoaster of a game. You want comedy? You got it. You want to cry? Done. Fear? Oh yeah. You name it, this story has it.
Now the characters, my god. They have just that, character. Backstories that you can only sympathize and feel for, truly. The story they each possess and the way that you are able to actually connect with each and every one of these characters is honestly amazing. I can honestly say that there is not a single character in this story that I have disliked, flaws and all. They all connect well with each other. It's difficult to put into words just how much I positively I feel for them all. Especially Theresa and Leah.
The art, the effects, the music. Perfection. The attention to detail put into this Novel is just ridiculous. (In a positive way of course) It just leaves you yearning for more and more and feeds you the insane amounts of dopamine that you would hope every Visual Novel can provide.
This is a masterpiece that I will ensure to follow until the very end, and I NEED more. I almost didn't want to reach the end of the latest chapter.
Thank you Story Anon for an experience that I will truly never forget.
I'm debating between playing the game again at Chapter 45 or wait until Chapter 50. I stopped at 40 so it's just a question of how much I want to torture myself because the story is. that. fucking. good. Like it's in my top 3 if not number 1.
That is EXACTLY why I was worried about reading too far into it. Being left on a cliff hanger and having to wait for the next chapter. Thank you, Story Anon.
There is. It’s called Windows version. I made this reply multiple times but - just use some modern Wine variant, it works perfectly fine.
Why not build native version? Because:
Linux has no stable ABI or API (outside of kernel syscalls and POSIX but on their own they are useless to make anything for enduser). Can’t rely on anything being there and working in a few years - most games from initial steam push for games on Linux that tried to make native build will not work today, only the ones that relied on Wine would work. Look at native apps/games from just a few years ago. The most stable ABI and API on Linux is ironically Win32.
I know for a fact that at least one of the things would be broken on native Linux version and it’s not worth to fix it for 1.5 users that will use it. That’s screen manager that manages render resolution and allows resizing windows. While code should be crossplatform there are some nuances with how Unity classes work on different platform and nuance on Linux is that they return nonsense results on Linux when multiple monitors are connected. As far as I can tell when asking for screen resolution it just returns X framebuffer size which is just sum of current resolutions of all screens. Which is completely useless information.
That’ll be 4th platform to build for. It’s already a pain to package for 3 platforms, adding another one to the list would only make sense if userbase is not 1.5 users.
Best part is all of these points are solved by using Wine - it has stable ABI and API because Windows doesn’t break compatibility on a whim and all the pain points I described earlier fall onto the devs of Wine instead. And because it would just run windows application point 3 is also not an issue. And because Wine is not an emulation, it just translates Windows APIs into native syscalls or calls to modern libraries and allows running windows executables and load windows libraries - it’s not really slower than native application.
Running on Wine can have issues with videos if you have older hardware but that can be fixed by reencoding and replacing one file. If there are any other issues - these can be fixed and it’d be much more productive than trying to maintain and fix issues in native build.
weird that you say there's no user base and yet you complain about making this reply multiple times. guess there's more than 1.5 users after all.
anyway I don't want to install wine because everything else I use works just fine natively. no probs though, plenty of games on this site which work fine on linux
3 users in a year. Compared to for example at least 15-20 reports in a week when there was a bug in OSX build. And one of those asked for build because videos were broken in Wine due to outdated hardware that doesn’t fully support Vulkan. It’d take weeks to implement something that no one needs only to give WORSE experience than what you would have with Wine because they keep updating their software while recompiling unity player is simply impossible - it’s closed source, so if there is a compatibility break in API or ABI that player uses it would require full engine upgrade to fix. On the other hand Wine version will never break and if something breaks there almost always be a working fix for it. Distro maintainers also usually fix all compatibility issues with software they package while 3rd party stuff - if it doesn’t work you can’t do anything which isn’t a problem with Wine.
idk how or why dude doesnt use wine lol such a great tool for linux... Anyway just wanted to say you can also run a lot of windows games on linux by using steam and hit add non steam game select the exe for the game and then once you add it right click it in steam hit properties and turn on proton compatability. Then it will run just fine.
By helping Kieran’s sisters in chapter 2. I’m not sure how you can miss it now, game literally has built-in markers leading to all extra missable content and marker that shows which options continues story so you don’t accidentally continue before checking out everything.
Just unpack zip and it should contain app package. If you don’t have app package in the download - you downloaded patch instead of the game. Patches are supposed to be copied inside app package.
This is not a bug. This is a mistake you made when upacking game or with download. You download must be corrupted if it’s missing scripts folder. Or you got a different error.
Do you have invisible characters (such as EN SPACE or NBSP) in folder path where game is - specifically at the start or the end of some folder name? If so this isn’t bug with the game, this is a bug with .NET/Windows API and you should move game to a different folder. And if that’s not the case I recommend checking if archive you downloaded wasn’t corrupted. If it was I recommend redownloading using download manager.
I need help, when I start to install the game and finish downloading, an error occurs and a website appears with a message written This
XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <Error> <Code>ExpiredRequest</Code> <Message>Request has expired</Message> </Error>
What could this error be, can anyone help me?
First of all there are spoilers for the start of this game in this comment so if you haven't even downloaded the game yet and were thinking don't read this trust me. So for the intro of this game when I was reading about how Victoria's mother died it reminded of something very sad so while I was thinking about that I was progressing with the story I got to the point where Sarah said if CJ wanted to meet his father just keep look at the stars or whatever and remember I was still think about the thing I was sad about and out of fucking nowhere Chad Thundercock descends from the fucking stars and I just FUCKING lose it and start yelling to myself how stupid this, anyways I just wanted to share my experience with the game for the first few minutes I started playing and I look forward to playing the rest of the game.
Try using download manager. If it’s not possible for some reason - try joining discord and I will give alternative links. F95 also has multiple mirrors but it’s usually outdated for android, although I think it’s up to date for current version.
hello I need some help. I updated my game but messed up and now my save files are lost. I was on chapter 41 and want to play the next few chapters but now I’m stuck at the beginning so far away haha. Can I get a save file or something? Hit me up on here or you can hit me at @bungdumpster on discord. I can’t join the server cause I only have internet on my phone atm. Thanks.
only on chapter 4 and its great so far, but please tell me you have a spotify playlist or something. the sound track is just pure vibes and im loving it
Have you tried pressing M or checking if you have sound muted in settings? You might’ve pressed M by accident which mutes game sound (it might be a different key for you depending on if you changed input settings or have default binds). If that doesn’t work then enable Debug Console in game settings in system tab at the bottom and open it in the game with ~ key (default, can also be different depending on your input settings). If you can see audio channels being created and audio clips being played on them (shown in runtime info in top left corner) and no errors in console log - check if maybe you muted game application in system mixer. And if there are errors in console log related to missing assets - check if your antivirus didn’t quarantine asset bundles for some reason.
Lots going on in Chapter 44! I'm guessing next month's will wrap up Teresa's current arc? I'll probably replay through her chapters (there's a lot to keep track of).
In the description it uses the word trauma, I am nervous and concerned. This looks really good and interesting. my interest is super peaked. However i have do have trauma and degression issues... i dont handle sad/depressing ( a little is fine if there is a good ending lol) very well. I dont want to spiral. Is this a sad depressing story? PLEASE AND THANKS!!
That's the perfect answer. Thank you. Its my problem i know. I apricate you taking time to answer. Lol trumatic childhood +bad (not in that sense) trauma anime and manga. You HELPED ALOT THANKS
I feel like I need the help of someone with a masters in literary analysis. I have essentially no idea what happened in chapter 44 other than some super basics. This isnt meant to be a critique, I just was not able to follow it and hoping to maybe get some help understanding.
Neither confused or lost actually express though how i felt reading this. It felt like someone was edging my brain's attempt at understanding. It felt like I spent the whole chapter just barely out of reach of understanding. Kind of like one of those older AI generated images where so much of it looks so close to familiar but the more you look the less familiar it becomes.
If you could help, I have a "few" actual questions...
( ***SPOILERS*** )
(incase you didn't see the warning at the top)
[Section 1: the gods]
1. So the whole episode is meant to be inside the soul/domain or whatever of auxo yes? (All the weird "memories", and the trip through the city too?)
2. Auxo was corrupted by ScaryBlackThing^TM?
3. Was auxo's actions or plans influenced by this thing?
4. Are we supposed to know what this thing was? Or even have an idea of what it could be? It was a complete blank for me.
5. Everyone entered auxo's domain at the start- but cj and teressa were separated by ScaryBlackThing?
[Section 2: cjs mom]
6. What triggered her mental breakdown?
7. The ScaryBlackThing (hereinafter referred to as SBT), how was it involved in her breakdown, her visions, the weird science shit she was doing? Was the person she was working for involved in this?
8. What was going on with the visions. Why was Cj seeing them? Did his mom see the same ones as him? Im entirely lost here.
9. His mom was working to make some super genetic serum thing for perfect gene structure yes? When they said she would be giving birth to a God, did they only mean it in this scientific sense?
10. Was that serum that she got given to her by Hector? How and why was it given. How was it made. Why was it a thing
[Section 3: Cro and cj bit]
11. I thought cj and teressa were only ones separated, but he was with cro in city?
12. Who was the weird chick who kept popping up.
13. What happened that made this bit suddenly end with Cro looking like she was gonna blow some shit up
[Section 4: misc]
14. Why did Hector turn to stone
15. What was special about Hector
16. (Related) why was No-Face-Man interested in hector
17. How/why were hector and cj's mom stuck together in a single monster
18. What suffering did cj's mom even experience. Seems like it is made to be forgone assertion that she did--- but i dont see how.
19. Was No-Face-Man related to the weird dragon monster that contained hector and cj mom?
20. Was no one (the other shards) actually there with cj and teressa during that fight? It seems like that is suggested by auxo but it doesnt make much sense
==========
My head hurts. This one really confused the absolute fuck out of me. I dont know if I'm just dumb/clueless or perhaps many of these questions are meant to be unanswered.
So a lot of this is unclear, or not necessarily explicitly stated. Later chapters usually bring clarity and recapping which lays stuff out more clearly but for now here's what I got:
1. A lot of the episode takes place in Auxo's domain. The city - the place where Hector is from - is real, however: its a one of the many realities and universes that exist in the Out Of Touch verse, and is one of the countless places Auxo destroyed with the thing she was trying to do. The memories that CJ and Teresa continually flashed through were apparently efforts by the eyes in the dark to isolate and create despair.
2. If by ScaryBlackThing you mean the eyes lurking in the dark (aka demons, of which jester girl Motley was one of), then no - Auxo was not corrupted by them. It is somewhat unclear what exactly those things are - they've been referred to as Nightmares or daemons and my current theory is that they're Auxo's faeries that grew up wrong and broken. Remember the metaphor of countless seeds being carelessly strewn - some of them had to land in bad soil - plus faeries absorb ambient energy and take on the traits of the environment they come up in, so imagine faeries that come up in a world turned hot and dead by Auxo. Those things - by their own admission to Hector - can't resist or influence Auxo. Growing up broken caused them a lot of pain and they'd have loved nothing more than to pay that back to Auxo - but the best and most enduring faeries are observers (like Prince Dana), and could never do such a thing, let alone do it against their patron mother figure (remember, all fae come from Auxo).
If by ScaryBlackThing you mean the giant tentacle kaiju that they fight - 'corrupt' is not the right word - more like terrified, and terrified into doing some stupid and careless things, and terrified into doing some of the things she was already doing stupidly and carelessly.
This is why when tentacle kaiju is dealt with, Auxo seemed relatively 'sane' compared to the other two goddesses we've met so far - the literal source of her fears had just up and disintegrated.
3. Yes, but not directly. Any sort of grand or deliberate-looking action was deliberately chosen and undertaken by Auxo. However, tentacle kaiju had her scared and hiding, like a kid hiding under covers - and when you're scared like that you do desperate, scared things - you slap around looking for a way to escape or call out for help. Things like that were influenced by that thing - Cro' noticed it when Auxo tried to pull CJ through via Teresa's bonding moment. It was intense, clumsy, and largely not a part of her grand plans. That's the shit that came from Auxo's fear.
4. I ended up answering my theories on what the scary eyes in the dark are in 2 - but its not explicitly stated. I imagine recapping in future chapters will illuminate this more, but otherwise yeah, it hasn't been explicitly stated.
5. To be clear: people didn't show up to Auxo's domain until that gray beach where CJ and Hector ended up. The city that CJ ended up in - the place where Grandpa plucked Hector out of - was a living world that had been destroyed by Auxo. Following Teresa's soul through her connection to Auxo somehow ended up detouring CJ and Cro to that destroyed city-world, while Teresa kept on going straight to Auxo's domain. That's why they got separated. Why this happened - I'm not exactly sure. If i had to speculate, i'd guess it was because of the strength of Teresa's connection to Hector as her father, but either I missed something or this isn't something yet explicitly stated either.
--------
6. CJ's mom's mind broke because her connection to Auxo got cut - by Teresa. Time works in weird ways on the Other Side, and this is apparently ESPECIALLY so when it comes to Auxo. Apparently this happened while Teresa and CJ were being shuttled aroudn their memories by the eyes in the dark. Once Stacey's connection to Auxo was cut, she realized how little there was left of her life, soul and existence without that connection, and she went crazy - and that's also when she started getting older faster (her life force was spilling out of her).
7. SBT was not involved in any of that. Her breakdown, visions AND the science shit were all (ultimately) influenced by Auxo.
8. If by visions you mean the visions of Hector trying to survive in Auxo's burned out city-scape ...you know, I'm not entirely sure why that happened. It seems theres some sort of connection between that world and CJ's world, since Hector and Rosa spoke to each other in their dreams, enough that Grandfather noticed and got involved, which from the sounds of it is all very, very unique. WHY that connection exists is not clear to me. My theory is that there's some threads of some fate-like thing involved - like the world is very Important (with a capital I) so of course CJ sees visions of it at an important time. Or its because the path of Auxo trying to both create CJ's birth and so that he comes and saves her from tentacle kaiju left imprints that CJ could see. OR the visions were deliberately sent by Auxo as part of her efforts to make it so that CJ would come save her from tentacle kaiju. It's a little muddled because there's a fucking lot. And why did Cynthia see Hector and his world? I dunno. All of my theories feel a little weak on explaining everything, and I'm content with just waiting for future explanation at this point.
9. Stacey and Sonia were both working on biomedical stuff as part of their career as biomed researchers. The gene serum they got - and that they presumably used to birth CJ - was handed to them by Hector, from the labs on his world, universes and eons away. But Stacey and Sonia were both influenced by Auxo into using this serum to birth CJ - they presumably tanked their careers in order to do so due to Auxo's influence, and it was under this influence that all the birth-a-god talk happened.
10. Yes, she got it from Hector, passed through a portal that Auxo presumably opened that stretched across space and time. The serum was, presumably, created by Auxo herself, using the life energy of everyone who was dead and turned to stone in that world. Remember Auxo's rant about how she would make iterations of CJ by taking a little bit of goodness from "everyone"? And then her later rant about how iterations kept failing, so she ended up taking more, and more? It looks like for the most recent batch, Auxo just up and sucked the life force of every single person on that world dry (remember the "draining influence" CJ felt when he stepped foot there, plus all the stone bodies you saw everywhere) and condensed it into a liquid. A few vials of pure, extremely potent liquid goodness, derived from a colossally fucked up source. The serum itself is not a god-making serum, however - Auxo explained this to CJ once she became lucid: other iterations of Glory that Auxo managed to lead to the birth of would always die - most often to her other sisters, or to other factors. So the serum was just to ensure that CJ would be incredibly strong and healthy both physically, spiritually and otherwise - in order to prevent CJ from goddamn dying before he could realize his potential and come save her from tentacle kaiju.
-----
11. This got explained earlier but just to be clear: Cro and CJ got rerouted to the ruined cityworld while Teresa went ahead. Cro is there because she is in the lead - she's able to track Auxo through the infinite via her attempts to draw CJ to her, through Teresa and otherwise. Cro knows where to go and takes CJ with her. Cro mentioned that normally this wouldn't work - but Auxo's attempts to draw CJ to her are clumsy and obvious enough that Cro can just do that. And Auxo's attempts are clumsy and obvious because she's scared and desperate.
12. Do you mean Motley, the "jester girl"? She only popped up once, so if you mean someone else let me know. But I'm pretty sure she's one of the daemons - the scary eyes in the dark. She mentions that her form was different from what she was used to - and she mentioned that it was because of CJ's godly presence that this was so - so just being close to CJ caused one of the scary eyes in the dark to take the form of a sexy young girl. Sort of illuminates what Cro says about molding flesh to his liking, a bit.
13. This part...I'm not actually sure about. I'm not sure what Mika and Allen were doing there, either. There was literally no followup on that scene, as the next time we see Cro, its when she's being told she's beautiful by Auxo, and Mike and Allen don't show up again. TBD, I guess.
-----
14. Hector was always going to turn to stone. The draining effect of that blasted city-world does that, and I would guess that at some point when you've been there long enough, its irreversible. The reason Hector lasted as long as he did at all was apparently because of his connection to Auxo via her shard on that world - his mother, Teresa, aka the talking corpse. The eyes in the dark taunted him with this fact, Grandfather mentioned it as leverage to get him to become his goddess-hitman ("you don't have that much time left anyways"). It was always gonna happen. He was lucky he lived long enough to find love and sire three daughters.
15. Hector learned how to hurt spiritual beings by channelling his anger and compassion into his attacks, and was lucky enough to figure out that the amber tears left on the stone corpses of his world could be used to power these attacks so taht they could pack enough punch to do damage. Without the amber tears - he still couldn't hurt spiritual beings. I imagine his knack for this sort of channelling comes from being the son of a shard of Auxo - the corpse-on-the-ground Teresa.
16. You mean Grandfather? He wanted Hector because he was able to kill spiritual beings, a skill he learned from surviving in the burned out city world...and also because he thoguht Hector woudln't falter when it came to stopping the goddesses, since he came from an entire world that was destroyed by one. These combined, he thought would make him a good "goddess hitman" - someone who could take out budding shards, manifestations or even the goddesses themselves, in order to stop them from destroying the world.
17. From what I can gather, Hector and Stacey both fell prey to the daemons - the eyes-in-the-dark. Both were brimming with emotions they liked - a lifetime of hate, loneliness, lack of agency and resentment - especially towards Auxo. And they amplified the absolute crap out of these emotions. Hector's emotions came to a head when he tried to kill Stacey and couldn't, and decided to go after the goddesses instead - one in particular. Stacey's emotions came to a head when she was facing CJ that last time in Auxo's realm. Remember how CJ and the others said that the tentacle kaiju was like a huge half-soul - and remember that half-souls, ESPECIALLY big ones are raw emotions given form on the Other Side. That tentacle kaiju was a horrible mashup of all of this hatred, malice and loneliness from both Hector and Stacey - and it was all directed at Auxo, so it all glommed into this one huge thing that terrorized Auxo while she hid and tried to call for help.
18. CJ's mom had life, a career and love. A budding biomedical career with the woman she loved - fun but scatterbrained, the future seemed pretty bright for her and for Sonia too. THen one day Auxo, from very far away, decided that CJ needed a mom - and since Auxo only works in broad, distant strokes and doesn't know how to do things with any gentleness or finesse, she basically took over CJ's mom's mind, body and life (and, to a lesser degree, it seems, Sonia's), and puppetted her in the role of birthing and caring for CJ. Remember what she said, when she was hanging from that rope in Auxo's realm and thoguht she was talking to Auxo: she's not even a slave - a slave at least has control of their own limbs and words. Its implied that many of the things she did were completely out of her control and just puppetted by Auxo. And when they weren't, the overarching orders were impossible to go against... so when the order is "take care of Cj and do nothing else", that's all she did. No friends, no leisure time, just taking care of CJ, work at a shit job so she can take care of CJ, and sit at home and stare at the goddamn wall when she's not doing either of those things. Remember, CJ's mom once upon a time had a life, and a career, and love. Literally all of those things were gone - upended utterly by Auxo, and she coudlnt' do anything about it. And then, when her connection to Auxo was cut....well, what did she have left? No friends, a no-prospects job, no career growth, and still a child to take care of. And, long enough after the connection was cut, she started aging. Hard. Losing life force because she wasn't connected to Auxo anymore. Her life has been horribly unfair and painful.
19. If by No Face Man you mean Grandfather, then no. Not directly. It was his order to Hector to kill CJ and the goddesses that put Hector on the warpath to go after Auxo - which resulted in him becoming part of the tentacle kaiju monster. But it wasn't Grandfather's idea for Hector to go after Auxo directly.
20. All the stuff in that fight all took place on the Other Side. So they were all there - but only as their soul forms, or Other Side forms or whatever you want to call it. Once the fight was over and Auxo regained herself again (on that grassy plain), Auxo then kicked out all the shards she didn't want around - Leah, Vickie, and Kieran - which is why they weren't aroudn for the big talk with Auxo, despite Leah and Vickie being there for the tentacle kaiju fight.
You were right that by no-face-man, I was reffering to the grandfather. At the time of writing my questions my brain was a bit melted and that was the best description I could think of lol.
Im still not 100% about some of this stuff, but ive got a much better understanding now. Thank you!
Hell yeah - glad I could help. The story got REALLY DENSE - and also really surreal, in these last few chapters, and it took me some rereading and some obsessive attention to parse it all. Worth it though!
Chapter 44 was epic. Great job. Gave a 5 star rating and a great review in hopes someone is inspired to enjoy this journey you have set upon us. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Is there any load menu for android? So far I can only use quick save and load which is kinda worrying that I might miss something and I only have 1 save
Two finger tap (touch with 2 fingers at the same time) opens pause menu where you can save or load. I assume you enabled quick save buttons in gameplay settings which turns Save/Load buttons into Quick Save/Quick Load.
Have you tried to you know, actually updating the game before saying that it’s bugged? Because you didn’t update the game, you just installed new assets.
Please can you tell me where the save files would be stored. I read this through a month or so ago, but have since had to replace my C drive, as it would no longer function as a boot drive. However, all the data is still intact, and while I will definitely re-read this at some point, I'd prefer to just continue with the updates for now. I can't find the save files on the old drive so far.
this story has made me feel things I’ve never felt before and likely will never feel again. Thank you for creating this one of a kind masterpiece. It is easily the best story out of all vn’s I’ve played and for the record I’ve played all of the more popular ones. I just finished part 2 and cannot wait to see what comes next. My only critique is his name… chad thunderc**k??? Hahaha it was funny at first but I gotta say it kinda hinders some of the more emotional scenes. If I had to pick I at least prefer CJ over chad it just sounds better. But that’s just me being picky.
*minor spoilers* ok i was about to review this in english but i dont have the words in english to describe this masterpiece so, dejando de lado que está novela visual es para adultos, tiene una historia increible, intrigante desde el primer momento, apenas voy por el capitulo 20/21, y es increible todo lo que hace este juego, bastante inmenso también, no soy mucho de escribir reseñas pero vi una referencia a "Oh klahoma" de jack stauber (tears falling down at the party, saddest little baby in the room, fears tell me fears don't get me startled) y me inspiro a finalmente decir lo INCREIBLE que es el juego oh y también esa JoJo pose donde aparece Sarah y CJ , aparte de su buena historia, los escenarios, algunos los he visto en otras novelas visuales pero eso da igual, son una minoria de los escenarios, el creador de este juego, Story Anon realmente se esforzo demasiado, los primeros capitulos de la historia realmente me intrigaron, el saber que victoria se sentía horrible por lo que había hecho y que CJ no sentía que fuese algo malo y el como se desarrolló su historia, fue algo muy increible, también el hecho de que tienes el POV de distintos personajes, mayormente Jamie, es también algo increíble, nunca antes habia visto este recurso en una novela visual, es sumamente innovadora intrigante emocionante anyways 10/10 Goty
If you're still having problems, or have similar problems in the future, try downloading it from F95 using one of the links provided there. You'll need an F95 account in order to see the links tho.
I download oot from itch.io, tried to extract the file but it says the file is corrupted, alright cool so I repaired the file, tried playing the game but now it says UnityPlayer.dll is missing, can't run program. Is this an error on my part or what? Please help
It’s not x86, compiling Unity for x86 Android is just as non-trivial as ARM64, it’s compiled for 32bit ARMv7. Unity requires switching to a different scripting backend to compile for ARM64/x86/x86_64. New android versions support 32bit ARM, it’s only Google Pixel devices that don’t support running 32bit applications.
Maybe this doesn't shine when compared to some of the ultra detailed 3d characters of other VNs, but the story and content ranks this one right up at the top. I've never seen a VN with so much content and effort put into it that didn't demand $15+. I've seen titles on steam for $20 and more that can't touch this and don't even get me started on all the ones for $9.99 on steam that you're lucky to get 1/10th of the content this one has. It's so far beyond my expectations I'm literally stunned.

There is a moment for make choices in the game or not? 🥲
It's a 30 hour game, they show up. But if you want the random pointless choices a lot of games shove in for filling you won't find them.
Thanks for your answer
i will try it in a few days
I tried to install on Android but it keeps saying "App not installed as app isn't compatible with your phone"
Your android device needs to be able to run32bit programs.
Well that's a bummer, I'm using a device with Snapdragon 8 gen 3 and that doesn't support 32 bit programs :(
It doesn’t have hardware support but there are solutions like Tango most just choose not to use these solutions because google deprecated 32 bit support for no good reason. Google goes even further and kills 32 bit support on hardware perfectly capable of running 32 bit applications natively.
Question, is there an lgbt content in this?
Pan-Poly as fuck, no guy on guy though if that's what you're after
Ah okay, gotcha
Do I have to download all the installers?, or just choose one?
It literally says first thing in the instruction that you need to download all of them.
My fault, I didn't read the instructions before downloading
Is chapter 45 coming out on February?
The schedule for 2024 is up on patreon, Tropicali will be getting an update for patrons, then public in February. OoT chapter 45 will be out for patrons on Feb 22nd, then the public on the 1st of March
My bro ! Just turn this into an anime or manga at this point, the story is a 10/10. I don't even know how I could go back to normal VN after that
Also, should have named your MC JoJo at this point xD
Here's my review after playing 23 chapters.
Hell yeah, that's great to hear!
should i play this?
Yes.
YES. Top 1 VN even if you take out the "sexy" content.
Story Anon,
There truly aren't any words that can describe the experience I have just underwent exploring this creation you have sincerely blessed us with.
Thank you Story Anon for an experience that I will truly never forget.
thank you, glad you’ve enjoyed it! Much more to come soon!
I'm debating between playing the game again at Chapter 45 or wait until Chapter 50. I stopped at 40 so it's just a question of how much I want to torture myself because the story is. that. fucking. good. Like it's in my top 3 if not number 1.
Thank you, glad you’re enjoying it!
Teresa’s arc ends at chapter 44, so that’s probably a better stopping off point than 40.
That is EXACTLY why I was worried about reading too far into it. Being left on a cliff hanger and having to wait for the next chapter. Thank you, Story Anon.
No cliff hanger this time, promise.
No cliff hanger. Much sadness.
Don't worry when we get chapters 50+51 in December I'm sure it'll be the mother of all cliffhangers.
Holy hell this story is good
is there or will there be a linux version?
Does anyone know how to unlock the third scene in chapter 35?
By helping Kieran’s sisters in chapter 2. I’m not sure how you can miss it now, game literally has built-in markers leading to all extra missable content and marker that shows which options continues story so you don’t accidentally continue before checking out everything.
I always come back after a few chapters have been released, and man its always so good.
I'm always left speechless, seriously good work! Excited for the future as always!
where at in the file do i start the game? on mac
Just unpack zip and it should contain app package. If you don’t have app package in the download - you downloaded patch instead of the game. Patches are supposed to be copied inside app package.
HELP!!! i just download the latest version for android and it appears this! Help please
You only installed game, it needs assets. Make sure you followed installation instruction on this page correctly.
I got the same bug but I downloaded the Windows version on my laptop
This is not a bug. This is a mistake you made when upacking game or with download. You download must be corrupted if it’s missing scripts folder. Or you got a different error.
Nope, same error, latest Windows download. The scripts folder isn't missing, game just can't seem to find it
Do you have invisible characters (such as EN SPACE or NBSP) in folder path where game is - specifically at the start or the end of some folder name? If so this isn’t bug with the game, this is a bug with .NET/Windows API and you should move game to a different folder. And if that’s not the case I recommend checking if archive you downloaded wasn’t corrupted. If it was I recommend redownloading using download manager.
I need help, when I start to install the game and finish downloading, an error occurs and a website appears with a message written This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <Error> <Code>ExpiredRequest</Code> <Message>Request has expired</Message> </Error> What could this error be, can anyone help me?
Try using download manager if your download fails, if that doesn’t work - there are mirrors on F95 or on discord.
Sorry, so hard to download on android, after 1.2gbit started slowing download, stopped.
Help please...
Thanks.
I haven't gotten too far into the game, but I have to recommend it because of the chad moment.
only on chapter 4 and its great so far, but please tell me you have a spotify playlist or something. the sound track is just pure vibes and im loving it
There is no spotify but there is a full youtube playlist available made by a discord member, you can join discord to get the link.
Have you tried pressing M or checking if you have sound muted in settings? You might’ve pressed M by accident which mutes game sound (it might be a different key for you depending on if you changed input settings or have default binds). If that doesn’t work then enable Debug Console in game settings in system tab at the bottom and open it in the game with
~
key (default, can also be different depending on your input settings). If you can see audio channels being created and audio clips being played on them (shown in runtime info in top left corner) and no errors in console log - check if maybe you muted game application in system mixer. And if there are errors in console log related to missing assets - check if your antivirus didn’t quarantine asset bundles for some reason.Lots going on in Chapter 44! I'm guessing next month's will wrap up Teresa's current arc?
I'll probably replay through her chapters (there's a lot to keep track of).
44 is the end of Teresa arc and Volume 3. Next chapter is the start of Kieran* arc and Volume 4.
There are some sensitive topics covered, and there are dark moments, but they are handled with sensitivity and compassion.
I obviously can't say whether or not it would be triggering, but the story asserts love and compassion as the way of moving through trauma.
That's the perfect answer. Thank you. Its my problem i know. I apricate you taking time to answer. Lol trumatic childhood +bad (not in that sense) trauma anime and manga. You HELPED ALOT THANKS
*** (SPOILERS) ***
==========
My head hurts. This one really confused the absolute fuck out of me. I dont know if I'm just dumb/clueless or perhaps many of these questions are meant to be unanswered.
Okay, just to cover bases, did you play the previous chapters before this one?
yeah. Loved them all.

Hope it helps!
You are an absolute champion!
Thank you!
Thank you brother
Dev... the android update doesnt work :/ it s bugged
Edit
Have you tried to you know, actually updating the game before saying that it’s bugged? Because you didn’t update the game, you just installed new assets.
You're missing the game update, just download the new main .apk too.
Welp i am dumb i guess
Please can you tell me where the save files would be stored. I read this through a month or so ago, but have since had to replace my C drive, as it would no longer function as a boot drive. However, all the data is still intact, and while I will definitely re-read this at some point, I'd prefer to just continue with the updates for now. I can't find the save files on the old drive so far.
Thanks
if you open the save menu and click on the folder icon, it should automatically open your save file folder in explorer.
Thank you!
this story has made me feel things I’ve never felt before and likely will never feel again. But that’s just me being picky.
bruh just came to check, update live 2 mins ago? u making my day perfect, love your work anon <3
*minor spoilers* ok i was about to review this in english but i dont have the words in english to describe this masterpiece so, dejando de lado que está novela visual es para adultos, tiene una historia increible, intrigante desde el primer momento, apenas voy por el capitulo 20/21, y es increible todo lo que hace este juego, bastante inmenso también, no soy mucho de escribir reseñas pero vi una referencia a "Oh klahoma" de jack stauber (tears falling down at the party, saddest little baby in the room, fears tell me fears don't get me startled) y me inspiro a finalmente decir lo INCREIBLE que es el juego oh y también esa JoJo pose donde aparece Sarah y CJ , aparte de su buena historia, los escenarios, algunos los he visto en otras novelas visuales pero eso da igual, son una minoria de los escenarios, el creador de este juego, Story Anon realmente se esforzo demasiado, los primeros capitulos de la historia realmente me intrigaron, el saber que victoria se sentía horrible por lo que había hecho y que CJ no sentía que fuese algo malo y el como se desarrolló su historia, fue algo muy increible, también el hecho de que tienes el POV de distintos personajes, mayormente Jamie, es también algo increíble, nunca antes habia visto este recurso en una novela visual, es sumamente innovadora intrigante emocionante anyways 10/10 Goty
I can't even download the game, whenever I try the download will stop like 20mb from finishing saying the file was not found on the site
itch.io has been having server issues for the past few weeks. Try using a download manager, it can keep it from messing up.
If you're still having problems, or have similar problems in the future, try downloading it from F95 using one of the links provided there. You'll need an F95 account in order to see the links tho.
I have a f95 account, just found this game on here first when looking for something to play after I finished summertime saga.
Hi dev i hope you have a good day

I download oot from itch.io, tried to extract the file but it says the file is corrupted, alright cool so I repaired the file, tried playing the game but now it says UnityPlayer.dll is missing, can't run program. Is this an error on my part or what? Please help
sounds like itch is having issues. Try a download manager so it won’t corrupt anything when it has those hiccups.
I can download the .zip file just fine but the problems comes when I try to extract and then it all goes to shit but thnks for respondin tho.
Your antivirus may be quarantining or messing with it, since it’s got a random unsigned .exe in it.
Are the apks compiled in x86?, could this be done in x64 instead? since new Google Android versions do not support x86 anymore...
