You don’t need update installer. It is for people who downloaded previous version to update to current one. Installer itself will tell you which installers you need to download.
You can delete installers as soon as you install. If you want to fully delete the game with all assets you need to delete Out_of_Touch/Assets folder on your phone but if you do that you will need to obviously redownload all installers to continue playing. If you don’t delete this folder you can just download and run update installer and keep playing but the folder is quite large.

I beg you to please download this and enjoy this for the story with NSFW moments weaved into it which are all built up really well.
I downloaded this game and raw dogged through all of it including the new chapter in 3-4 days and in those 3-4 days I found myself being unable to get out of bed or get off my phone to even want to play on my computer, the story grips you tightly wanting you to learn more about it, its insanely phenomenal, I have felt genuine happiness, I have busted out laughing.. and I have cried many many times during my time with the game. This game is worth every bit of time and effort you put into it.
For people who loved classic rock and synthwave the soundtrack has a lot of it and each song is used perfectly in fact there's a playlist made by the developer with all of the tracks used in the game on their YT channel just look up Story Anon on YT(thank you for that btw Story Anon).
I cannot wait for the next chapter in this story and even the finale, as sad as it will be when that comes I know damn well I will probably play through it all again and enjoy it to its fullest with no stops.. StoryAnon has created something incredibly special with this game and I am so happy that I was able to experience it.
I can agree with you on that, this is my first comment and I just want to agree to everything you've said about Anon, and the reason for agreeing is because I've just finished playing Tropicali...... Bro that game is insane it puts you into to full control unlike these other visual novels, Tropicali felt so different, it felt more of a game than a novel it had all emotions in it laughter, sadness all that.... It broke me when the I woke up and found that Juni was gone. I felt so broken, it broke me so much but still the game was perfect and please I'm kindly asking if you don't take the pregnancy path and don't promise Gloria that you can kill anyone for her.. If you haven't started a replay yet, go ahead or maybe wait until 58 (current arc finale) has released to the public. Play through it more slowly this time, and enjoy all the layered foreshadowing you missed on the first pass.
57 should be releasing for the public in a few days, (its really good) and 58 should be out around Christmas.
You need to run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine $game_path terminal (replace $game_path with full path to .app bundle) if it says that it’s damaged. Easiest way would be to type xattr -d com.apple.quarantine and drag & drop .app bundle into terminal window, it will insert full path correctly.
See my answer above if you’re on Mac. This is a problem with the way new versions of unity build mac runtime and the way we package assets. On some devices it puts .app bundle into quarantine. Wasn’t a problem with old unity versions.

Hi, I am only a tiny bit into the visual novel as of the moment (chapter 14-17 I believe) But reading this last night not only brought me to tears of laughter from some parts, but genuinely brought me to tears of sadness. This is such an intruiging and amazing novel, and I am of the opinion that it is good enough to be called one of the best visual novels played so far. (I have over 2k hours worth of visual novel time on steam, and probably over 4k on itch io games.)

i'll say it again. Out of touch gotta be one of the best vn's out there and even one of the best pieces of fiction to exist. Cj is so beautifully written, his struggles and discoveries hit like home and characters like jamie, cro, and kieran will really have you doubting which characters you really like and which you dont. Anon has done such an amazing job in keeping the story alive in every chapter. Incredible foreshadowing, subtle hints, its simply peak.
I just restarted the game because I needed a refresher since I stopped back in chapter 44.
I just realized that at the start of the game Victoria got put into a position where she felt she had no power. Later she tried to regain her power by forcing CJ to submit to her and she was horrified by what she did. It's the cycle of abuse in action. And the CJ's mother took what little power CJ had because she's terrible. . . . Last part was just calling that bitch out. In the perfect words of Alucard:
Long story short. The entire story kicked off the way it did because power was forcefully taken. And then I say that. HAHAHAHAHAHA OH FUCK am I not even scratching the surface of this game.
This game is worth every single second If at first I was put off by the character style (when I first started using Itch I mostly played games with models like in Eternum, MBML and Sicae), and decided not to play this game
I ended up picking it up when I found it had 51 chapters, I liked the funny, nonsensical start. Characters were endearing, the writing was already pretty good and it seemed like a cool, chill game to play while waiting for other updates. Then I got to the more serious parts of the story and was completely pulled in, the story became so genuinely good that I couldn't stop, I had to see more.
I basically played this nonstop for two day and caught up to the latest chapter, and I loved every second of it I am so incredibly glad to have started playing it at a late stage of development, I am thankful for past me for being stupid and deleting when I found out I couldn't change MC's name, because it allowed me to find this actual masterpiece at a stage where I could properly enjoy it.
Legit a master piece, i know the beginning is a bit weird but i promise you it ties into the plot. This is a work of passion, it deserves more eyes and support. It is the most well written and well thought out AVN i have read. If you enjoyed please support, the dev 100% deserves it. Thank you Story Anon for another great Ch can't wait for the next!
The consistency with which StoryAnon puts out quality content with solid writing while also making incremental improvements to the game engine and such is literally unmatched, holy moly. I took a break right before chapter 48, planning to replay through the whole thing before I get caught up. Can't wait!

It actually goes surprisingly in depth discussing "what happened" (assuming you're thinking of what I think you're thinking about). It's the kind of thing that seems like it might be resolved a little too tidily at first, and then several (or perhaps dozens) of chapters later, it comes back in a big way.
That describes a lot of plot points in this story, come to think of it. As of Ch. 55 there's still a lot of moral grey area and most character dynamics are continuing to evolve in interesting ways.
So (unless we're thinking of very different things) he re-evaluates it multiple times throughout the story.

Essentially, all statements from Vic and Kieran must be taken as an unreliable narrator. It's not "It happened the way Vic said and that's fine." it's: "It straight up DIDN'T happen like that. She did not do what she thought she had done."

and my issue isnt that it happened, its that there is this weird Lack of true accountability there never a conversation between them that says "hey you fucked up but i understood why and i dont hate you for it."
Instead his fucked up brain that has rationalised what happened, ends up gaslighting everyone else into thinking the same, while simultaneously the narrative throws hints that it still fucked with his head.
its actually the only plot point i have a problem with but vic is so involved in everything else that it just ruins all the good moments for me

But furthermore, how can you "gaslight" people into thinking you gave consent? That is straight up nonsense. If you consented... You consented. If anything, what you are suggesting would be gaslighting "I know you think this is how you felt, but you didn't "really" feel that way." If he says he was a willing participant. Then he was a willing participant. If he says he was a victim of rape. Then he was a victim of rape. You're suggesting we ignore the actual testimony of the victim and say "No, no. Your choices and feelings don't matter. THIS is what you're supposed to think happened."
The idea of "You were mistaken about your own consent" is ridiculous..
Who the fuck else has the right to make that choice other than the person involved. To suggest otherwise would be to remove that person's agency and ability to choose who they want to have sex with. The very point of consent in the first place.
Imagine arresting someone for theft and then when the person they "stole" from says: "That was a gift I gave her". You say "No, no. You didn't give it to her. You're clearly delusional."
Every character has an arc of their own. Sometimes they interconnect, but everyone gets Hella development as the game progresses. It's actually wild how in depth it gets - I spent a lot of time mentally coming to terms with some of the arcs, with multiple hours of tears at times tbh xD
Like the other replies have said, pretty much every story thread in this game stays consistently important throughout, no stones stay unturned. However, I'll also add that people are allowed to process their experiences in their own ways, and are allowed to forgive and move on at their own pace, even if that pace is much faster than what we tend to think is normal. Should CJ be in therapy? Oh hell yeah, but is it wrong of him to forgive [character] so easily, and to fight for them afterward? No, that's entirely up to him.
On the flip side, it's also valid for their friends to have their own opinions and genuine reactions to what happened, but they still ultimately need to respect that CJ has accepted and forgiven [character] even if they haven't. If this happened in my friend group (and it has, unfortunately) I would expect everyone to react and process it in various ways, but I would also expect everyone to respect and validate the wishes of the victim. Now, this is obviously a story and it makes sense plotwise that the cast comes around to [character] which isn't how it usually pans out irl, but considering it's something that happened years ago and CJ was willing to forgive so openly I'm willing to suspend my disbelief there.
This has been obe of the best games so far just got caught up kinda sad that the end seems so near but it's been done in such a way I can't complain 10/10 really hope storyanon keeps making games especially if they bring you this kind of quality

Who the fuck else has the right to make that choice other than the person involved. To suggest otherwise would be to remove that person's agency and ability to choose who they want to have sex with. The very point of consent in the first place.
Imagine arresting someone for theft and then when the person they "stole" from says: "That was a gift I gave her". You say "No, no. You didn't give it to her. You're clearly delusional."
Every character has an arc of their own. Sometimes they interconnect, but everyone gets Hella development as the game progresses. It's actually wild how in depth it gets - I spent a lot of time mentally coming to terms with some of the arcs, with multiple hours of tears at times tbh xD
You're going to be shocked by how consistent the game actually is. It initially pretends to not take itself seriously, this is a feint.
Like the other replies have said, pretty much every story thread in this game stays consistently important throughout, no stones stay unturned. However, I'll also add that people are allowed to process their experiences in their own ways, and are allowed to forgive and move on at their own pace, even if that pace is much faster than what we tend to think is normal. Should CJ be in therapy? Oh hell yeah, but is it wrong of him to forgive [character] so easily, and to fight for them afterward? No, that's entirely up to him.
On the flip side, it's also valid for their friends to have their own opinions and genuine reactions to what happened, but they still ultimately need to respect that CJ has accepted and forgiven [character] even if they haven't. If this happened in my friend group (and it has, unfortunately) I would expect everyone to react and process it in various ways, but I would also expect everyone to respect and validate the wishes of the victim. Now, this is obviously a story and it makes sense plotwise that the cast comes around to [character] which isn't how it usually pans out irl, but considering it's something that happened years ago and CJ was willing to forgive so openly I'm willing to suspend my disbelief there.
This has been obe of the best games so far just got caught up kinda sad that the end seems so near but it's been done in such a way I can't complain 10/10 really hope storyanon keeps making games especially if they bring you this kind of quality
The game is a little over halfway done by chapter count. There's plenty more to come and Anon's pace is very good.
